Electronic catalogue is conducted at the same time with the traditional card catalogue and is a component part of the reference and research mechanism of the library.

EC is put into the computer which is in the Acquisition Department.
EC has been conducted since 2001 y.
EC carries permanent character.
The catalogue thematic is universal and displays the CLS collection.
The catalogue includes such kinds of literature: periodicals, books, brochures, CD, video.
The catalogue includes literature in the Russian, Kazakh and English languages.
The catalogue includes the main cards.
On the facial side of the card there are the shelf and the full catalogue indexes.
The Electronic catalogue is edited every quarter. The catalogue is in process according to “Rules of the Electronic Catalogue of “Ust-Kamenogorsk SI Centralized Library System”
The Acquisition Department is responsible for organizing and completing the whole book collection of the CLS.
