Chistyakov Mikhail Ivanovich
Born – September 3, 1917-2006; Birth place – Urgush, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia.
Poet. Participant of GPW. Deserved Art performer of RK. He lived in Ust-Kamenogorsk since 1947. He taught in school #25, worked in “Rudny Altay” newspaper, headed literary community “Zveno Altaya”. Member of Soviet and Kazakhstani Union of writers, an author more than 15 books and prose. For a book “Doroga” he was awarded the title of laureate of Kazakhstani Union of writers. Personal pensioner. He led significant social work among the youth, brought up many poets and prosers in the region. He was awarded the Order of Great Patriotic War of first degree, many battle and labor medals. Honorary professor of Eastern Kazakhstan State University.
