Protazanov Alexander Konstantinovich
Born – August 15, 1914-2006; Birth place – Kiiv, Ucraine.
He sponsored Oblast Committee of Communist Party of Kazakhstan since September 1969 until December 1983. Significantly contributed to development of city and oblast. He played wholesome role in constructing Irtysh river embankment, erecting the objects of community infrastructure and facilities, schools, kindergartens in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Personal pensioner of Union significance. He was awarded many governmental prizes: the Orders of Lenin, Russian Revolution, 6 orders of Labor Red Ensign. The name of Protazanov is given to one of the most beautiful street in oblast centre.
