Kulenov Akhat Salemkhatovich
1932-2007
Born – April 15, 1932-2007; Birth place – Pavlodar.
He related his life with non-ferrous metallurgy of the country. He worked at Copper and Zink Plant named after Lenin in Ust-Kamenogorsk for a long time. He mastered the plant since 1981 till 1994. Akhat Salemkhatovich Kulenov is a legendary metallurgist of Kazakhstan, “Halyq qaharmany”( “Hero of Nation”), corresponding member of engineering academy Rep. of Kazakhstan, laureate of State Prize of USSR, deserved innovator of Kazakh USSR, professor for chairs of chemistry, metallurgy and benefication of Eastern Kazakhstan State University, manager of ZAO( CJSC) GMK (or mining-and-metallurgical integrated works) “Altyn-Aymaq”, honourary citizen of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
