Batalov Yury Vasiljevich
Born – June 25, 1939; Birth place – Semey
Batalov works from January of 1966 in Eastern Kazakhstan State Technical University. He went long way from assistant till professor, from being in charge of university department to its rector. He headed University 14 years (1986 – 2000). Under his guidance University transformed into the leading cultural and researching centre in Republic of Kazakhstan.
Yury Vasiljevich is the best performer of people’s education in Kazakhstan. He is working member of Academy of Sciences and corresponding member of home-base engineering Academy of Science and Higher School of Kazakhstan.
