New Project of “Knigolub”

In the beginning of this year the fourth annual fair of the social ideas and projects “Responsible State-Strong Kazakhstan” took place in Almaty. The fair was arranged by RK Ministry of Culture and Information and Modern Policy International Institute. .

This year the project “Medinform” was acknowledged as the best in the nomination “Healthy Person-Prosperous Country”. Popularizing the healthy way of life is one the priorities of Ust-Kamenogorsk CLS.
More than one hundred activities on this topic was held: talks, surveys of literature and different kinds of meetings.
The project realization began in June of this year. The booklets “Tuberculosis can be cured” were spread among the readers of the City libraries. All together 49 thousand booklets.
Within the project in library-branch 10 the School of Medical Study for students of Menovnoi secondary school.
